The Problem
A university aimed to create a high-performing team aligned with its corporate values. The challenge was to ensure consistency in values and behaviors, enhance behavioral capability, and uplift morale in the wake of recent redundancies. A refreshed strategy, vision, and business plan were needed to improve cultural outcomes.
The Approach
The university initiated a comprehensive culture program, starting with a diagnostic phase, followed by a series of workshops and executive coaching sessions. This culminated in a Culture Vision that dovetailed with strategic goals and a practical 'ITDS' values framework for staff to integrate into their daily roles.
The Outcomes
The program effectively infused the institution with its core values, achieving a values-driven culture. Leadership engagement and redefined values led to improved alignment with customer outcomes and an uplift in community engagement, with stakeholders actively embracing the new cultural direction.
