The Problem
The City of Burnside recognised the need to cultivate leadership capabilities within its large and diverse leadership group to bridge capability gaps, reduce stress, improve employee engagement, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
The Approach
The council co-designed a leadership development program, incorporating the Dare to Lead™ framework to bolster emotional intelligence and resilience. The program was modular, allowing leaders to tailor their learning journey. It involved intensive workshops focused on identity, mindset, and customer service.
The Outcomes
35 leaders participated in the Dare to Lead™ program, prompting the scheduling of another due to its success. Overall, the program's flexible structure and shorter workshop durations led to high attendance and positive feedback, signaling a shift towards a more empowered and cohesive leadership culture.
The City of Burnside sought an innovative Leadership Development Program, and Synergy IQ delivered a tailored solution that aligns with our Leadership Competencies and Behaviors. It includes the internationally recognised Dare to Lead program.
